Roofers and Waterproofers Apprenticeship Training Program

The United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Local No. 2 has an excellent Apprenticeship Training Program. To apply for the program, you must:
- Be 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or GED Certificate
- Complete the International Union application
- Be ready to learn the trade
Roofers begin as pre-apprentices and receive on-the-job training. After becoming apprentices, they receive additional instruction, both in the classroom and on-the-job, while receiving union wages.
Apprentices attend classes in the evening. The apprenticeship pay rate will increase with your skills and time in the program. Upon completion of the program, you will receive Journeyman Certification and are then eligible for union journeyman wages.
